Inspiring person
Michael Phelps. A swimmer born on June 30, 1985, in Baltimore, Maryland. He went on to win
medals at the Olympic Summer Games in Athens, Beijing and London, accumulating
a total of 22 medals—18 gold, two silver and two bronze—and setting the record
for the most medal wins by any Olympic athlete. He announced his retirement in
2012, however, in April 2014. But at the age of 28, he will continue his career
I found him inspiring
when I’d figured out his family background. He came from a broken home family,
and he had ADHD. The inspiring thing is that he can manage himself well. He can
find a way to get through this by swimming, not by having drugs, smoking, or
any other bad things. And by swimming, he can cure his ADHD, release his stress
and become success. Which also inspire me to swim as a stress
releaser.
Becoming a great
swimmer is not an easy thing to do. I’ve watched his training videos , I can
see that he has to be really discipline, and he has to get through hard work
out. And it taught me to be discipline, hard work, and to
respect every achievement i’ve made because of the will behind it. One of his
video about him trying to get SpeedoFit also inspire me. On that video he
complained a couple of time but he kept tryiing as hard as he could and he rgot
SpeedoFit that day. Which shows that we are stronger that we know and we can,
it reminds me every time I gave up on things.
