Movie Review : Catching Fire

As the sequel of the trilogy, it tells the next adventure of Katniss Everdeen with her rebellion against president snow and capitol. Further synopsis can be seen here http://m.imdb.com/title/tt1951264/synopsis

So the end calls out my curiousity, which is perfectly made in the movie. Compared to The Hunger Games, Catching Fire is more like the book. It has more details from the book than The Hunger Games has. And the effect is perfect that I can feel the same atmosphere as reading the book. It is amazing. It does worth the wait especially for those fans out there. 

Restaurant Review

Food! I love it, you love it, they love it, WE love it! If there's a saying "I can't live without love" it's such a big mistake cause, u can't live without food. What will give you nutrition if you don't eat? Lol. No offense but that's kinda true. 

And the next one is, hanging out. Most teenagers love hanging out. No matter whom it's gonna be with, it will always be fun. And no matter where it's gonna be it'll always be fun as long as you are creative to spice your moment up! 

And then, related to food it must be very exciting. A place to hang out which provides food, it must be the restaurant right? So here is a recommendation for you.

This place is called "Roemah Enak-Enak" . Located in cihapit street number 33, this restaurant provides a vintage athmosphere as you walk in. There are so many vintage furniture all over the restaurant. As you walk deeper, you will find walls full of many old posters, advertisements and stuffs.

The food itself tastes goods. I usually come fo breakfast, the breakfast package gives you free drinks such as hot tea, coffee or mineral water. I once came for dinner and was served their regular menu. It consists of some Indonesian food and international food with the touch of Indonesia like spaghetti rendang.

         It really looks like home , right?

It has mini park inside the restaurant which makes the air fresh and add more vintage yet hommy atmosphere.

Song Review

Song. Who doesn't love one? Whether you're happy or sad, there's always a suitable song that fits your feelings or even your mood. Sometimes the song stays in someone's mind  that they keep on singing in their mind, then unconsciously dancing with its rhythm. Sounds weird but this is what just happen to me as I listen to this song.  It's Fallin' by Alicia Keys. I like this song. It's a bit groovy, it makes you want to dance a little bit. Alicia's voice also makes it more groovy. Here is the video and get ready to move!

So, from the lyrics we can tell that let's say A, falls in love with B. But the thing is B is so complicated, mysterious and unpredictable. B can make A the happiest person alive but also can make A the saddest person alive. But, the irony of this song is when A tells how much he/she loves B that A can't handle it. This song also show the ugly truth of these days love life sometimes, the one we love hurt us but we can't deny how much we love them right?

Dewa Athena

Other school has a tradition called class meeting which is held at the end of the semester with sport as the subject. But my school makes it different. It is held at the middle of the second semester every year, because at the end of the year the students mostly busy having remedial test, assignments finishing and stuffs. lol.
The event itself is called Dewa Athena. I join this year's opening ceremony. it was so cool! There was a mini color run with each class' representatives running at the front line with the running leader as he brought the torch. Sounds exciting right? With no further do. I'm gonna tell you all about it.
First  the participants were gathered at bali field. Me as the representative from my class gathered with other representatives at the other side of the field with the committee. There we wait for Mr. Encang's formal opening ceremony. while waiting for the ceremony, I did some stretches with the other representatives at the other side of the fields.

After delivering his speech, Mr. Encang gave the torch to the running leader who was my classmate named agie.

After that, Agie ran past the other side of the field then headed to the gate. As he ran to the gate, we followed. The route was quite far. it was bali street-belitung street-sma pasundand-saparua field-banda street-bali street.

When we arrived at bali field, we got the the color shots. Fortunately representatives didn't get the color shot which was good because I was a bit lazy to clean them up.
At the afternoon, my class has it's first futsal match. but unfortunately we lost.

After futsal match, we had dodgeball match. This time, my class made it to the next step! Good Job guys (y)

Greetings Season

First week of my holiday I spent by having christmas celebration with my family.

On 24th of December I went to church to celebrate christmas eve. The church was decorated beautifully. The giaunt christmas tree with beautiful ornaments and twinkling lamps was set in the church. It became much more beautiful as it came to the candle light ceremony. The ceremony was held by turning the lamp of as we have our candle lit and sung a song. It was a beautiful ceremony. 

That night, me and my family also had our christmas diner at out house. My mom cooked delicious dish that night. After having our diner we devorated our christmas tree. It wasn't as luxurious at the one at the church or evenr atht the mall but it was the togetherness I got as I decoratebit with my family.

On 25th of Dec. I woke up excitedly on 5 a.m. I instantly bathed, had my breakfast and went to church. After going to church I had a family lunch at my house with my family. That afternoon I went to the super market with my mom and dad to buy some goods for tomorrow's cooking. We got some fish, vegetables, spices, cards of juices and milk. Why I want to joinf the shop was because of the fish. Beacause we could pick the fresh fush we wanted from the aqurium which meant that I could see many living fish there and I liked it :)) 

 

On 26th of Dec. It's the second christmas celebration! It's so special because it's my "gradiation" of my one-year religion class program at the church. After the final test and stuff I finally got it done. 

I started this morning preparing stuffs with my mom. I have to be at the church at 8 a.m. 

After that I went to church and join my friend to get some explanation from the priest. 

After that we joined the worship. Our ceremony held in the end. We would go to the altar and get our verse announced. After that we pray with our family. I was si glad that I finally get it done.

Video Conference 2

During the second VC, I wasn't there to join. I was with LISTEN Community.

Listen community is a community dedicated for the christian students of SMAN 3 Bandung. There, we gather and hold activities together every friday. Listen is operated by the eleventh graders. After the activities, the eleventh graders would evaluate it and planned the next meeting.

Listen also has several activities like christmas celebration, sport day, movie day and stuff. 

We also have good connection with the alumnis. They always support our activities.

During the vc we were having our activites evaluation with the alumni. It includes our activities effectiveness and it's result.
